We are expanding our team and looking for people passionate about their magazine to lend their talents to Contrarium. Join the club, it’s a healthy coping mechanism.
The roles available are on a volunteer basis. Contrarium does not turn a profit, and all of us on the team have been donating our time out of love for what we do and belief in the community that we’re building. As much as we wish we could compensate our entire team, that is currently not possible.
We understand that volunteering time is a privilege, so we want to be upfront.
That being said, team members have used their work with Contrarium on their resumes, and it’s even helped our layout editor get into grad school! All of your work will be credited and we encourage our team members to use this experience to their benefit.
All of our team members work remotely. Ours is a creative process, so even if you’re working on magazine shipping, we still want to hear your opinions on graphic design! We’re looking for team players who are able to take initiative, manage their own time, and reach deadlines.
