Issue III Theme Announcement

Hey there Contrarium fam!

We are so excited to finally be announcing our theme for Issue III of the magazine! For our third issue, we’re doing something a little different. What’s the opposite of a dream: nightmare or reality? We couldn’t figure it out, so for this issue we have a trio of opposites. Issue III’s theme is:

Dream || Nightmare || Reality

Submissions will be open from October 11 until November 15 on our website. This time around there will be some changes in the submissions process, so please read carefully! There will be two submission forms: one for written pieces and one for visual pieces. If your submission is a combination, please choose whichever form feels more appropriate. Each form will be capped at 150 submissions, so don’t wait too long to submit! You must submit each entry separately. Any submission that contains more than one piece or otherwise does not follow the submissions guidelines will not be considered. All files must be submitted through the form — sorry, no file transfer services this time. For visual pieces, please upload a file no more than 10MB on the Google form. If your piece has been selected, we will contact you for a higher resolution file (if needed). The link to the submissions form can be found on our website once submissions have opened!
